Carnation City Mall, located in Alliance, Ohio, is a 310,000 square feet fully enclosed single story mall. The mall is anchored by Elder Beerman, CineMark Cinema, JCPenney and Dunham Sports.  Other key tenants include Bath and Body Works, GNC, King’s Jewelry, Famous Footwear, Claire’s and Sears Hometown Store.  A five-eaterie, 156-seat Food Court offers snacks and light meals to shoppers. Additionally, the mall has an attached Comfort Inn Hotel with 115 guest rooms.

The Location

The mall is accessed immediately from US 62 (State Street) with signalized access from main entry. State Street is one of the highest traffic thoroughfares in Stark County, averaging more than 29, 464 vehicles per day.

The Trade Area

The Carnation City Mall  trade area is a 15 mile radius encompassing 269,514 residents.  It is a dominant retail facility in the Alliance area, with other retail centers being either freestanding or strip mall establishments.

As the  geographic center between Youngstown and Akron/Canton, Alliance serves as a retail and health services hub for a five county region. Alliance is surrounded by six universities and colleges and home to University of Mount Union, which employs 520 and has an enrollment of 2300. In addition to UMU,  the local economy is supported by a diverse employment base including Alliance Hospital, PCC Airfoils, Coastal Pet Products, Alliance Casting, Mac Trailer and Walmart.

New construction projects for Alliance Community Hospital, Alliance School District, and University of Mount Union has created over $200,000,000 in community investment.
